Feb. 1st – Sergio

It was a very wet day today, so Sergio and I went on a neighborhood walk. We hiked up the hill to the park where we found a stick and played fetch for quite a while. After he seemed bored of that we continued down the hill letting Sergio roam the hillsides finding delicious smells along the way. We made the loop back around to his house and he was actually acting tired by the time we got home! I made sure he had plenty of water and then gave him a few treats before saying goodbye.

Feb. 1st – Lucy and Abby

It was raining when I went to pick up Lucy and Abby today, but Abby didn’t seem to mind at all. She was doing her normal hello jumps and very excited. Lucy, on the other hand, had to be picked up and carried outside. Once she was going everything was fine though. We walked down the hill and made the loop stopping for Lucy to smell whenever she pleased. By the time we were nearing the house, both the girls seemed ready to be out of the rain. Even though they were happy to be home, they took the time to give me a warm goodbye.

I had a very typical day with these two. We took our usual route and stopped to sniff at the usual spots. Lua was a little more stubborn than usual and wanted to spend as long as possible standing in one spot sniffing every time we stopped. I didn’t want to push too hard, so we let her have her way and she was happy! Typical girl, I guess!

Feb 1 Whiskey

Whiskey and I had so much fun at Reserve today! We met some new dogs, Yeti and Arie, who Whiskey had such a blast with! We spent almost all of our time in the field playing with them until all the dogs were totally pooped! After that Whiskey and I took a short walk then headed home.

I was surprised when Mr. T agreed to go on a walk with Max and I today despite the rain, he didn’t seem to love it but was a trooper none the less! We looped the cul de sac as usual and headed back out to the main street where I tried getting them to go up and down the hill. Unfortunately they were both feeling sick of the rain by that point and just wanted to hurry home.

Kaya and I had a nice walk up and down the hill today. It was a little windy but luckily the rain stopped for most of the time we were out and about. She seemed really antsy on leash but the trails at the top of the hill were far too muddy to play on. When we got home I played fetch with her in the yard for a while then cleaned off her paws before letting her roam inside.

Because it was so wet and muddy outside today Jet and I couldn’t go to the Harrison Hollow trails without covering ourselves in mud and messing up the flattened paths so we went to Reserve where the sandy trails were much easier to wander about on. We hiked all over and spent some time playing fetch!

I had a good walk with Jake and Lua taking things easy and wandering around our normal route. We had a pretty quiet time and didn’t bump into any other dogs this morning. They were both curious as ever and did lots of sniffing. We enjoyed the mild weather but even still, they seemed happy to be home when we were done.

Whiskey and I had a lot of fun at Reserve today playing fetch in the field then going on a long hike. He was a great listener and luckily came back to me when he started running full speed at the ducks in the pond and I yelled out to him, phew! When we got back to the field there were lots of other dogs and he had a great time chasing them all about.

Jan 31 Maddie, Lewie and Churchill

I took Maddie and Churchill up an extra street today since they seem to be having a really easy time with the usual block. They were both a little chaotic this afternoon and pulling in different directions the whole time but seemed thrilled to be outside. Lewie and I walked to the end of Hays and looped back down Fort taking our time and exploring around as we went.
